Luxembourg boasts a large array of historical and cultural sights that are worth seeing, lots of interesting and picturesque spots you can discover, countless legends and anecdotes worth relating.

Luxembourg is a city of myriad faces – not only in the figurative sense. The museums teem with the portraits of the renowned personalities determining the history of the millenary fortress, be it the fortress builder Vauban or the Spanish Governor Peter Ernst von Mansfeld. Faces also moulded the cultural scene, if you merely think of the expressive clown or children’s faces of Joseph Kutter, the most well-known painter of the Grand Duchy.
